What a blessing it is when you children come to the Lord. Last year in Ms. Capps' Life Group and at a RA's Missionary presentation, Eli asked Jesus to be the LORD of his life. After many conversation of heaven/hell, baptism/salvation and sin he understood the separation he had from Christ when he was not allowed to take communion this Easter. I told him he had to be sure of his salvation that the Lord's Supper was only for those children of God who were in right standing with Christ based on 1 Corinthians 11:17-34. Thanks to the counsel of a Godly man Brother Gordan Gilbreath. The earthly minds of me and James, as Eli's parents were satisfied of his salvation. Not that God needed this one bit. Anyway. Eli was Baptised Mother's day May 9, 2010 at the 9:30 service at Whitesburg Baptist Church.

A new brother in Christ
